Vehicle Charging
A 7.2KW two-car charging point is located in the parking lot to the north of the Steading. It is powered totally by renewable electricity, primarily our own 50KW hydroelectric and/or 80KW solar system, but on-demand can be boosted by Engie (renewable energy supplier). A full charge should take approximately four (4) hours at £8. If required, we have spare cables and adaptors.
Pets
Two (2) pets per cottage are welcome, with a payment of £50 per pet security deposit, which will be refunded upon departure. We request that guests respect the property and adhere to the Countryside Code when outside on the Estate - the dog must be kept under control, on a short leash, or at the heel to avoid worrying of livestock and wildlife. Hunters wishing to bring their dogs are asked to keep these in their own kenneling. Hunting dogs are not permitted in the Steading Cottages.
Miscellaneous & Future Possibilities
Also, there is outside parking, stabling, tack drying room, laundry, walled garden space, and steading barbeque and picnic tables.
Moving forward we have aspirations to build spacious a multipurpose building for weddings, celebrations, and more!
